The Makos 16uB team surged into the delayed 2020 summer season by sweeping the competition at the SuperEast Easton Summer Classic "Series" in Hartford, CT over 4th of July weekend.

The Makos won all 4 games, for a combined score of 42-4...and every player contributed to an amazing weekend. 

Highlighting excellent pitching from the entire staff was a 4 inning perfect game performance by Kenny Rix in Game 3.  Kenny stuck out 11 of the 12 batters he faced in the game.  Tom Sullivan, Adam Maher and Cam Harthan also had excellent starts and Chase Pariseau, Sean Gallagher and Mike Uriati anchored a solid bullpen.

Scoring 42 runs isn't easy, but a combined attack of excellent discipline, a relentless hit attack and solid situational hitting was impressive all weekend long.  Every player on the roster contributed offensively this weekend.  With a strength of pitching and defense defining this roster...this kind of offense will give the team opportunities, taking on a 17u schedule at some of the East Coast's premiere showcase events.
