The Ocean State Makos and PBR New ENgland had a great 2 day "Scout Day" to evaluate our 15u and 16u Players

Makos enjoy outdoor scrimmages to wind up winter sessions

Teams take advantage of great weather and URI facilities

The Makos finished up their winter workouts before the schools season began by having 6 of the teams square off in a series of controlled scrimmages at URI in Kingstown on Saturday.

The morning began with the two Makos NEBA teams (13u and 14) getting a lot of valuable field time in and was followed by the two 15u teams and finally our two 16u teams.

The day was designed mostly around defense and hitting, with coaches throwing strikes all day for plenty of ABs by the kids.  Great opportunity to see players in game situations on the field, and getting to bond in the dugouts.

We have a lot of great kids and players and wish them the best as they get ready to lace 'em up for 2019.
