The New England Collegiate Baseball League…one of the top summer collegiate leagues in the country, boasting some of the top college players from the nation’s best college baseball programs.

The Ocean State Waves (Consecutive Finals appearances) and the Newport Gulls (Six-time Champion) are highly respected franchises, and proudly represent the State of Rhode Island in this prestigious league.

The Newport Jr Gulls and the Ocean State Jr Waves have developed a reputation as two of the best developmental travel baseball programs in our area.  Both have been operated with a focus on both skill and character development and commitment to the process of training properly and challenging players to be the best they can be.  They are both operated by passionate and experienced administrators and coaches that are in this for the kids.  They are committed to the right way and it shows in the quality of their programs.

After some thorough and exciting discussion about how we can cooperate to do even better things for kids in our communities, we have proudly agreed to combine our programs under one umbrella.

·       This entity will maintain all our core values and mission which is about providing kids opportunities to develop properly.

·       It will significantly increase our base of players and coaches at all age levels, providing strength and depth to our rosters.

·       It will allow us to extend the makeup of our teams geographically, creating a wide access to the right players at all levels.

·       It will double the network of contacts and experience to assist older players in understanding and pursuing the game at the next level.

·       It will combine the strengths of individuals within the organizations to provide the best of instruction, business management, program administration and decisions, and past experiences as players, coaches and parents to provide a travel baseball experience second to none.
