Makos open "Shark Tank" Training Facility at NEST in Warwick, RI

The Ocean State Makos are excited to announce our new partnership with the area’s premiere sports training facility, Northeast Sports Training & Rehabilitation (NEST) in creating “The Shark Tank” baseball/softball training facility in Warwick, RI.

In addition to being one of many facilities throughout RI and SE MA that serves as winter training homes for our Makos players, the Shark Tank will also offer limited openings for public use by reservation only.

This facility is highlighted by quality, LED lit turfed space that will be outfitted with all new, state of the art cages, mounds and equipment that will provide the perfect training environment for individuals and teams in the local area, including private and group instruction from our unmatched staff of Makos Coaches.  Designed around being the perfect TEAM training facility, space configuration and cage retraction allows for all aspects of the game to be taught with ample room and ability to creatively develop players of all ages and skill levels.

Add to that the expertise of NEST, their experience as Strength and Conditioning Specialists for the Boston Bruins, Providence Friars and Brown Bears, and it is tough to imagine a better place to develop your game.

Congratulations to Coach Westy on the 10 year mark of his courageous battle !  Proud to have him leading the Makos!
