The Ocean State Makos 2019 Florida Showcase team had an outstanding showing at the WWBA Underclass World Championships in Fort Myers FL this past week.

Comprised of 2021 and 2022 graduates in our program, the team finished 3-1-1, making it to the prestigious round of the final 32 teams, eventually taking our only loss to the #8 seed Dirtbags Bad Company program.

Being a showcase tournament, emphasis is put on showcasing players in front of hundreds of college recruiters, and judging from the interest we received on several of our players, it was an outstanding success for our players and program.  Certainly put us on a National map of quality talent.
