Players benefitting from high level coaching and playing experience.

Exposing our young players to experienced baseball professionals like Coach Vance serves a multitude of benefit, from the mechanics and mental approach of pitching at a high level to an in depth understanding of the game and preparation to play it the right way.

Coach Vance is currently the Pitching Coach at the University of Rhode Island, after serving a short stint at the University of Connecticut. UCONN is also where he had an impressive playing career before signing professionally with the Chicago White Sox in 2011.  Coach Vance's full bio can be found by clicking the link below.

Coach Vance is helping our teams local to URI for the summer and has been a pleasure to have around.  We feel lucky to have had him share some of his thoughts with the players and coaches.

Coach has been with Ron Westmoreland's 16u Blue team in Worcester this weekend for the NEB 18u Summer Ender.  "Kevin has a great way with the kids.  They are very comfortable around him and talk openly to him.  Sometimes kids in that situation go the other way and don't benefit like these kids are.  He has great post game words and our team has definitely benefitted."

We all look forward to watching Kevin make our kids better and are grateful for his commitment.
