The 15u Blue team continued a solid start to its campaign with a 5-1 mid week contest against L&M Baseball at Moses Brown School in Providence on Wednesday night  Both teams use these games to stay sharp in preparation for upcoming tournament tilts.

Pitching was certainly the story for the Blue boys, allowing only the 1 run, 3 hits and punching out 17 in the 9 inning contest.  The Makos used 8 pitchers … Adam Maher, Adam Marsh, Cam Harthan, Sean Gallagher, Tommy Sullivan, Chase Pariseau, RJ Fatorma and Mike Uriati.  With 2 games both Monday and Tuesday next week in the PG Super25 Regional, all arms are sure to get their work in.  4 pitchers accounted for 14 of the Ks, Marsh with 6 (2 IP), Gallagher and Pariseau with 3 each and Maher with 2.

The offense managed 7 hits combined with 9 walks to spur the offense, plate discipline again a strength for the team.  Uriati led the team with 2 hits and 2 walks.  Fatorma also walked twice and Alex Stec, Brycen Tetler, Pariseau and Gallagher (each doubled) had knocks.
