The 15u Blue team finished 2-1, but more importantly impressed 8 College Recruiters who participated in the tourney by being in the dugouts interacting with the kids, evaluating them while getting a great gauge of their character both on and off of the field.  "They stood out" Blue Head Coach Ron Westmoreland said. "They played every out hard, picked up their teammates at every chance and performed at a high level on the field.  Very proud of how they represented themselves and our program. It's why we did this tourney.  The college guys had a lot of great things to say about them."

On the field they played great baseball.  Still getting used to some of the team defenses and communication systems, they learned a lot in real time.  Got better every day.  Game 1 saw them with a 10-4 win over the Boys of Summer 16u team.  Again showing great patience and plate discipline at the plate they drew 8 walks, while smacking 8 hits including a double and 3 triples at Eastern Ct State University.  The offense was led by Chase Pariseau and Tommy Sullivan with 2 hits apiece...Sullivan with one of the triples.  Cam Harthan and Sean Gallagher also had triples and RJ Fatorma had the double.  Pariseau and Gallagher each knocked in a pair.  Brycen Tetler and Adam Maher each drew a pair of walks in the W.  Adam Marsh had another solid outing on the mound allowing only 1 run and 4 hits over 5 innings, striking out 7.  Sullivan finished up striking out 4 in two innings of work.

Game 2 saw a great pitching duel against a tough NEB team, with the Blue team taking a tough 2-0 loss.  The Blue team outhit NEB 4-3 with Harthan, Fatorma, Jack Kriz and Mike Uriati making the impact offensively.  Adam Maher was stellar on the hill, striking out 6 NEB hitters over 6 innings, and picking off two baserunners.  Gallagher finished up with a 1-2-3 7th.

Weather forced the 3rd game into a showcase style format with a maximum of 3 outs or 5 hitters per half inning.  The Blue team saw them reach the 5 hitter limit in 5 of the 7 innings, leaving men on bags every time.  They were able to record 10 hits, with 3 doubles and a triple...to give them a 6-3 decision over the Long Island Junior Ducks 16u team.  Pariseau had 3 hits including a double, Harthan had 2 including a triple and Alex Stec had a 2 run double in the win.  Tetler (2B), Fatorma, Gallagher and Uriati also had hits.  Harthan did the job on the mound, allowing 7 hits over 6 innings, and Pariseau finished it up.

The Blue team plays a 9 inning mid week game vs L&M on Wednesday in preparation for the PG Super25 in Northborough next week,
