The 15u Blue and 15u White teams knocked heads Wednesday in preparation for the SuperEast 15/16u College Exposure Tournament in Hartford CT this weekend.  Should be a great experience for the boys as college coaches will be in the dugouts and conduct a showcase style workout for BP and IO...in addition to 3 games against quality opponents.

The 15u Blue team erased a 5-1 deficit in the bottom of the 7th by scoring 4 times to end the game in a 5-5 tie.  This is the second consecutive game the Blue team showed grit by never giving up when down...sign of a good team.

The White team was led by Conor Kelly, with a couple of base hits and Joe Scrofani with a big 2 run single.  Trey Young, Matt Durkin, Sean Lozier and Matt Talabac also contributed with hits.  Ben Fargo led the way on the bump allowing only 3 hits and giving up no runs over 4 innings.  Lozier came in for the 7th after the Blue team plated 4, to shut the door, striking out 2.  Kelly also threw well allowing only a run over 2 innings.

The Blue team struggled hitting but showed great plate discipline, with only 6 hits but a couple of big ones. RJ Fatorma had a 2 run single and Adam Maher doubled in a big run in the 7th. Alex Stec, Mike Uriati, Cam Harthan and Brycen Tetler contributed with singles as well.  The pitching had 11 punch outs, Maher with 4, Adam Marsh, Tommy Sullivan and Chase Pariseau with 2 and Harthan with 1...allowing only 7 hits and 3 earned runs as a group.
