14U Makos bats were alive for the first game against the Dugout Dawgs as the Makos won 14-3.  Joe Vento led the attack going 3-4 with 2 RBI’s.  Also with multiple hits were CJ Hess, Dante Ricci and Billy Roche.  CJ Hess was in command pitching 5 and 2/3 of dominant baseball striking out 4 and allowing only 5 hits.  Jacob Cookinham finished the game with a scoreless 1.2 innings

After a dominating game by the Makos in game 1,  game 2 started with a bang.  The Makos scored 5 times in the first inning to take the lead to edge the Dawgs 8-6 to win the second game. The offense was lead by Vinny Enright and Dante Ricci with multiple hits.  But the Dawgs battled back and by the end of the 6th inning the game was tied however Ricci ignited the offense with a 2 out single and stealing second and third before scoring on a wild pitch.  Joe Vento came in to close the game.  Brady Mellen pitched a solid 4 1/3 innings.
