The Ocean State Makos 15u and 16u Blue and White teams enjoyed two days of "Scout Days" with Trevor Brown, Director of PBR New England.

The Scout Days consisted of workouts for all positions.  On Day 1 at Teamworks in Somerset, MA, Infielders, Outfielders and Catchers worked out in defensive drills and recorded throwing velocities and POP times.  Day Two was held at "The Barn" at University of Rhode Island and had comprehensive evaluations of hitters and pitchers, as well as timed in the 60 yard dash.

The extensive collegiate and professional experience of the Makos coaching staff and administration understand the importance of putting together a player profile for the upcoming recruiting years, and establishing some benchmark times to be able to set goals on improvement in those all important categories.  Teaming up with the expertise in evaluating of Prep Baseball Report further establishes the focus on development goals of the Makos program.
